Sonu Sood is one of the most respected and admired individuals that we have in the country at present. The man has already proven his credentials as a performing artiste on multiple occasions in the past and we are all certainly proud of him. While he has always been known as a good human being, the way he actually came forward to help the needy and the poor, especially during the difficult time of Covid-19 was certainly very refreshing and heartwarming to see. Even today, he’s a ‘man on a mission’ as he believes that his primary task is to help the people in need and save as many lives as possible using his resources. Right now, he’s creating a buzz for his first audio series on Spotify titled ‘Commander Karan Saxena’ and during a special chat for the same, when he was exclusively asked by IWMBuzz about what Independence Day means to him and how he’s gonna celebrate the same, he was quoted as saying,
“Well, it is a very important day for every Indian. The kind of life we are able to lead today is because of the hardship and sacrifices that were done by our freedom fighters and martyrs back then. It’s not possible to celebrate their hardship and efforts in just 1-2 special days. As an Indian, I feel patriotic every single day of life. Since childhood, flag hoisting has been an extremely important part of the culture and this time as well, I plan to spend time with family, take part of flag hoisting and continue to feel proud as an Indian. Jai Hind.”
