Bollywood’s popular heroine Hema Malini remembered her husband, Dharmendra, days after his passing with a heartfelt note expressing her emotions and calling his passing a loss that is “indescribable”. In a brief note, the actress poured her heart out, sharing her grief and describing what Dharmendra’s presence in her life actually meant.
Hema posted a series of photos on her social media of Dharmendra with her, his daughters Esha and Ahaana, and the lovely moments she had with him. However, in a brief note, she called him her “go-to person” and “everything” to her.
The note reads, “Dharam ji
He was many things to me. Loving Husband, adoring Father of our two girls, Esha & Ahaana, Friend, Philosopher, Guide, Poet, my ‘go to’ person in all times of need – in fact, he was everything to me! And always has been through good times and bad. He endeared himself to all my family members with his easy, friendly ways, always showing affection and interest in all of them.”


Mentioning his humble and grounded personality, Hema wrote, “As a public personality, his talent, his humility in spite of his popularity, and his universal appeal set him apart as a unique icon unequalled among all the legends. His enduring fame and achievements in the film industry will last forever.”



Lastly, the actress opened up her emotions on Dharmendra M’s passing, saying, “My personal loss is indescribable, and the vacuum created is something that will last through the rest of my life. After years of togetherness, I am left with myriad memories to relive the many special moments…”
The beloved star, popularly known as “He-Man” of Indian Cinema, passed away on November 24 after battling with health issues.
Dharmendra leaves behind his first wife, Prakash Kaur, his second wife, Hema Malini, and his six children: Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeta, and Ajeita from his first marriage, and Esha Deol and Ahaana Deol from his second marriage.
