Tamil actor Jayam Ravi and his wife Aarti Ravi have become a hot topic in the headlines since last week. The duo indulged in a social media battle as they released statements regarding their separation. Both of them have been in the headlines for the last six months, becoming a hot topic on the internet. Jayam and Aarti’s divorce proceedings have been ongoing in the Chennai Family Welfare court since September 2024.
Jayam and Aarti appeared in court this week for the divorce proceedings in the 3rd Additional Family Welfare Court in Chennai. As per the reports, the South actor in his petition clearly stated that there is no chance of reconciliation and wanted a divorce. On the other hand, Aarti, in her petition, demanded a 40 lakh monthly alimony after the separation as she needs financial help after the separation. Currently, the case is adjourned till 12th June as per the reports by News 18.
Jayam Ravi and Aarti Ravi have been married to each other for fifteen years, tying the knot in 2009. In 2024, Jayam announced his separation from Aarti, though the latter wished to stay with him. As per the reports, the South superstar is dating Kenishaa Francis.
