Aamir Khan Productions has finally released the long-awaited teaser for the romantic drama ‘Ek Din’, starring Junaid Khan and South Indian actress Sai Pallavi. The short teaser presents the story of a delicate, beautiful love amid the amazing, white-dusted nature.
The one-minute teaser provides the audience with a very delightful and strong connection between the two main characters, which is, at the same time, supported by the awesome, soul-stirring music. One of the moments that is very touching is when the character Junaid speaks of his love for Meera’s smile and admits he’s not so sure he’ll win her heart. The story unfolds as the couple visits beautiful places and discusses their feelings, love, and the deeper meanings of life.
This film is significant for a couple of reasons – firstly, because it is the debut of Pallavi in new Indian cinema, bringing along her already-given grace and natural talent to the Hindi film industry; and secondly, it is the third big break for Junaid, the son of actress Aamir Khan, following his previous productions.
The film is directed by Sunil Pandey, with Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit as its producers. This collaborative effort brings Aamir and Mansoor Khan together again, who made classic movies like ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’ through their past partnership.

Given the teaser’s phrase, “Some stories don’t need time,” the film suggests it’s about short but significant moments. Scheduled for a theatrical release on May 1, 2026, the film will be reminiscent of classic, emotive love stories.
Nevertheless, the teaser has caused a stir on social media, with some people going as far as to say that it might be a remake of the 2016 Thai film ‘One Day’, but there’s no official statement yet.
