Ramayana Part 1 is creating waves at the box office and in audiences’ hearts. Amid the overwhelming response, actress Kajal Aggarwal, who played Ravana’s wife Mandodari, penned a note of gratitude, saying that although her role is small in the film, she feels immense pride to be part of a project like this mythological drama.
On November 7, 2026, Kajal uploaded a bunch of photos from the sets of Ramayana Part 1, sharing glimpses of herself as Mandodari. Along with the pictures, she penned a brief note expressing her feelings attached to the project.
Feeling immense pride to be part of Ramayana Part 1, Kajal penned, “It is an immense moment of pride to be associated with a magnum opus like Ramayana, in any capacity. @worldoframayana @ramayanamovie.”
Speaking about her role, the actress said, “Albeit my role may be small, being part of a story that is so deeply woven into our culture, our history and our very existence, and being associated with a phenomenal team of such passionate and dedicated artists and technicians, truly fills my heart.”
“Some films aren’t measured by the length of a role or the minutes spent on screen. They are measured by the magnitude of the story, the passion behind its making and the privilege of being associated with something so deeply rooted in our collective faith and divinity,” Kajal added.
Expressing gratitude to the makers, the actress wrote, “A heartfelt thank you to @iamnamitmalhotra and @niteshtiwari22 sir for thinking of me and giving me this opportunity to be a part of something that will forever be etched in our history, while also being a pioneering step from India towards global cinema.”
Praising the ensemble cast of the film, Kajal quoted, “To all the wonderful artists, you were nothing short of phenomenal and such an inspiration. Your dedication, talent, and commitment are a reminder to always raise the bar and put our very best foot forward. @thenameisyash #ranbirkapoor @saipallavi.senthamarai @ravidubey2312 @iamsunnydeol @larabhupathi.”
Sharing her experience working with her industry friends, Kajal said, “To my dear friends @rakulpreet @vivekoberoi and @adinathkothare, sharing screen space, conversations, and so many laughs with you was an absolute joy!”
Reflecting on the love Ramayana Part 1 is receiving, Kajal said, “From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone for showering this beautiful piece of our cultural heritage with so much love, and for embracing my little yet meaningful character with such warmth and affection. Some associations are truly bigger than the role itself. Ramayan will always be one of them.”
She also praised the people behind the camera and noted, “And a very special shoutout to my wonderful team – @vardannayak @swapnilkashid_, the costume department and our incredible assistant directors. You guys truly hit it out of the park! Your hard work, attention to detail, and dedication made every bit of this journey special. All the appreciation and love coming your way is so well deserved. This one’s as much yours!”
