‘Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1’ Box Office Collection Day 20: Rishab Shetty’s period drama is creating ne records at the box office with each passing day. In the first 20 days of the film’s release, it is now steadily approaching the 550 crore mark. Kantara Chapter 1, the prequel of the 2022 film Kantara, is rocking at the box office and is a hit in theatres.
The film opened with a grand 61.85 crore, followed by a whopping 337.4 crore in its first week. And the collection crossed the 480 crore mark in the second week, reaching 485.25 crore. And now the film is all set to complete its third week of release, and ahead of that, it is approaching the 550 crore mark, with the total collection today at 547.15 crore.
On the 20th day of its release, Kantara Chapter 1 grossed 12 crore, a slight rise from the 19th day, when it earned 11.65 crore. Despite the declining numbers, the film is steadily approaching the bigger mark, emerging as a true box-office ruler.
In contrast, as per reports, Kantara Chapter 1 has crossed 760 crore worldwide, with a total collection of 760.5 crore on the 19th day. And the film has become the second-highest-grossing Kannada film of all time, with KGF Chapter 2 holding the first spot.
If the film maintains the current pace, it is likely to cross the 600 crore mark at the box office.
Written and directed by Rishab Shetty himself, the film was released on October 2nd, 2025. The film also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, and Jayaram in key roles.
