Kareena Kapoor Khan, daughter of Rishi Kapoor’s elder brother Randhir Kapoor, fondly remembered her ‘Chintu uncle’ with a heartfelt Instagram post on his 1st death anniversary.
Rishi Kapoor died at the age of 67 in a Mumbai hospital in April last year. He was diagnosed with cancer three years ago and flew to New York for treatment.
After spending almost a year in the US, he returned to Mumbai in September 2019. He leaves behind his wife, Neetu Kapoor, his son, Ranbir, and his daughter, Riddhima.
The Body, a 2019 film, was Rishi’s last project. He had also signed up for a project with Deepika Padukone, a remake of The Intern, starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro. The film will now feature Amitabh Bachchan.
Sharing a photo of Rishi on her Instagram stories, she mentioned a heart emoji.
