The hot-looking hunk Karan Singh Grover, who found B-Town success with Hate Story 3, has been out of sorts for over four years, with none of his films releasing.

KSG’s Teen Dev, which went on floor in 2016-17, has been stuck the longest. Then his other film Firrkie had lots of internal issues. The film had run into trouble in 2017 during its United Kingdom overseas sched, with line producers and vendors alleging non-payments. In an earlier interview, producer Vipul Tiwari had said that all payments due from his side had been cleared.

Last but not the least, his latest film, the Bhushan Patel-directed Aadat Diaries, with better half Bipasha Basu, was also delayed due to various issues. Karan also broke his foot during its London sched late last year.

Now finally there is good news with the possibility that Firrkie, also starring Niel Nitin Mukesh and Jackie Shroff, might finally see the light of day in the first quarter of next year.

Firrkie producer Vipul Tiwari confirmed the same, adding, “We have finally finished the film and hope to release the trailer in Jan. We have now got a release partner, so all roadblocks are cleared. We are hopeful of the film doing well. Karan has a huge cine market, it’s just that his films were not releasing,” ended Vipul.

KSG had found huge TV success with shows like Dil Mil Gaye and Qubool Hai, and he had returned to the tube with a short role in Kasauti Zindagii Kay 2 as Mr Bajaj. He had also starred in AltbBalaji web series Boss. The sequel of the latter is in the works, as per producer Sakett Saawhney.

We tried to get in touch with KSG, but could not get through to him till the time of filing of this story.

P.S. We have no confirmed news about the status of Aadat Diaries’ release so far.

We also tried to get in touch with producer Mika Singh and writer Vikram Bhatt.
