Mallika Sherawat is one of the most gorgeous and popular actresses in the Indian entertainment industry. After having done some amazing work in Hindi content, Mallika has also represented the country at a global level on many occasions and we are certainly proud of her. She’s one of the very few to have worked with the likes of Jackie Chan and no wonder her fan following is humongous.
One of Mallika’s most popular and famous movies is ‘Welcome’ which had an amazing ensemble cast in the form of Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, and many more. While the movie was a big hit back then, there were media reports doing rounds that Mallika and Katrina had a fallout on sets and it was Mallika who apparently copied her clothes and hairstyle despite having a catfight with her.
Both Katrina and Mallika chose to not speak about it for a long time and hence those rumors were never clarified. Finally, during an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz, when Mallika was asked about whether those allegations and reports had any element of truth or not, she was quoted as saying,
“It is hilarious, to be honest. I don’t even want to react to these speculations and give it any mileage. I have always had a decent work relationship with everyone I have been associated with. It’s a terrible rumour. I don’t know how and when it started. Don’t want to give it too much importance by talking a lot. All I can say is it’s definitely a rumour. Nothing like that ever happened. It’s simply baseless.”
On the work front, Mallika is currently gearing up for the release of her digital project ‘Nakaab’ which is a crime thriller. The web series is all set to see Mallika in a new avatar and we are super excited about this. It is going to stream on MX Player.
