Actress Manasi Parekh, who was on a Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage, has safely returned to India. Recently, the actress was in China following the unexpected disaster in Nepal. The actress was traveling as part of the Isha Foundation’s Kailash Mansarovar Yatra led by Sadhguru.
However, her trip came to an abrupt end after the flash flood hit Gyirong Port in Tibet. During the incident, the massive surge of water swept everything away from the immigration office to Rasuwa and the area surrounding the Bhote Kosi River. After days of the disaster, the actress has finally returned to India.
And now a video of the actress breaking down is going viral. On August 31, Manasi made her comeback, and at the airport, she broke down in tears as her daughter, Nirvi, hugged her. Even the little girl was emotional, while her husband, Parthiv Gohil, also came to receive the actress at the airport.
In the video, Manasi comforted her daughter while the little girl and Parthiv welcomed the actress by placing garlands around her neck. With warm hugs and smiles, the sweet family walked out of the airport.
Expressing her gratitude for the wishes and messages from all those concerned and her struggle to make her way back Manasi in her Instagram stories wrote, “Thank you so much for all the love, messages, calls and prayers.. the last 3-4 days have been overwhelming and getting out of China and reaching the Nepal border felt like winning a war.. there was a huge land slide at the China town of Nyalam which kept us waiting in our bus for 4 hours till we could start our journey out of China by road.”
She further revealed, “Then after a long bus ride of 40 miles we reached the border of Nepal where there had been another landslide which we had to walk through as there was no other way for us to make it till the buses waiting on the other side.”
Lastly, the actress informed about her safe return to her family and wrote, “And then it was the bumpiest bus ride of our lives as we made our way to Kathmandu, which was 4 hours away. But all this was worth it because it meant coming back to Mumbai, to my family and getting to kiss my daughter.”
