Mardaani 3 Box Office Collection: Maintaining its momentum at the box office, the Rani Mukerji starrer continues its steady run and, as it now wraps its fifth week, has surpassed the 50 crore mark, creating history for the crime thriller franchise. With its notable milestone, the third installment becomes a true hit.
On day 35 (Fifth Thursday) which is the last day of the week 5, the crime thriller recorded a decent collection of 0.09 crore (9 lakhs), seeing a big drop from day 34 (Fifth Wednesday) when the film earned 25 lakhs however, the upward haul was because of the festive holiday with 3rd and 4th March marked as Holi celebration.
But with the day 35 collection of just 9 lakhs, the film surpassed the 50 crore mark, making it the only film in the Mardaani franchise to do so in net India collections. Earlier, the film beat Mardaani 2’s lifetime collection of 47.57 crore, becoming the highest-grossing film of the franchise, and now it is also the first film to hit 50 crore with a net India total of 50.04 crore.
And now, if the film sustains in its sixth week, it will surely set another milestone, but at the current pace, it seems a little difficult. But let’s see what happens ahead.
