Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 has achieved a significant milestone with the record-breaking deal sealing between Aashirvad Cinemas and Panorama Studios. The leading thriller series in the Indian film industry is preparing to unveil its last chapter through an elaborate release strategy both in India and abroad.
Panorama Studios, the company known for distributing the most significant Bollywood movies, has acquired the complete distribution and remake rights for Drishyam 3. They had already acquired Hindi remake rights, but this new contract gives them the power to decide the release date and the distribution and marketing strategy, per Sacnilk.
Panorama now has all rights, but the release in Kerala will still be the responsibility of Aashirvad Cinemas. The global first release will be that of the Malayalam version of Drishyam 3. The Hindi version, set to start shooting this December, will follow.
The deal has been reported to be worth over ₹350 crore, the movie has already made its mark in the history of Malayalam cinema.
