The actor Navneet Malik has landed a role in the highly anticipated film Ramayana by Nitesh Tiwari, thus reaching a new height in his profession. Malik, whose credits include The Freelancer and Aankh Micholi, called this part the “largest chapter” of his career. The actor revealed some of his script as well as shooting and posted it on Instagram.
Sharing the photo he wrote, “With faith in my heart and blessings above, I begin the biggest chapter of my life this year. 🕉️✨बुद्धिर्बलं यशो धैर्यं निर्भयत्वमरोगता। अजाड्यं वाक्पटुता च हनूमत्स्मरणाद्भवेत्॥”

The Ramayana is represented as the most powerful project in Indian cinema, unveiled through the collaboration of Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The movie will come out in two parts, with the first one out in Diwali 2026 and the second one in Diwali 2027. Notably, the production has a colossal budget of ₹835 crore for the first part that proves its epic nature and imagination.
Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, and Ravie Dubey are the main characters in the film. The presence of Malik in this casting includes is a signal of his solidifying fame.
The Ramayana is going to give us visuals that will be nothing short of the greatest, and the VFX will be provided by the Oscar-studded DNEG. Not only that, a musical cooperation between the already famous composers Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman.
