Nitesh Pandey, the talented actor, who entertained audiences in shows like Pyaar Ka Dard Hai, Chidiya Ghar, Hero – Gayab Mode On, Indiawaali Maa, has bagged a new movie.
Nitesh will be part of Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao starrer film Badhaai Do directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni.
Badhaai Do is a part of the same franchise as Badhaai Ho released in 2018. The National Award-winning film starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta among others. The new film sees Rajkummar essaying the role of a cop, while Bhumi plays a PT teacher.
When buzzed Nitesh, he confirmed the news and said, “I am playing Bhumi’s father, who still thinks of himself to be young. My role had a proper graph in the film and I am really excited about it. I am grateful to my dear friend Harshavardhan Kulkarni for casting me when he saw I have lost weight during the lockdown. And of course, I want to thank writer Akshat Ghildial for again churning up a brilliant script. Thanks to Juglee pictures too. In the movie, father and daughter have good chemistry and she also looks up to him for emotional support. Bhumi was so wonderful to work with as she made it very comfortable and easy on sets for all of us. We have shot the film scenes mainly in Dehradun and Haridwar (Uttarakhand).”
