Supriya Pathak, a well-known actress of the Indian entertainment world known for her iconic role of Hansa Parekh in the comedy sitcom Khichdi, in a recent interview, recalled the bold choice of her husband, actor Pankaj Kapur, for not doing a project because he didn’t like it, and how he stood by his decision and the strong work ethic.

In a recent conversation with the host of Hauterrfly YouTube channel, Supriya Pathak and her daughter, Sanah Kapur. When asked, Sanah revealed that she had never called Shahid Kapoor to ask him for work or anything. This Sanah revealed that it’s not in their upbringing, as everyone is raised to do on their own.

Recalling one incident of her husband, Pankaj Kapur, who didn’t do a project because his heart didn’t allow it, and he didn’t find it good. Revealing the story, Supriya said, “There was a time, actually, we, Sanah was already there in our lives, my in-laws were staying with us, Pankaj had no work, I was not working, and he got an offer for a project, he didn’t like it, he didn’t do it, he said no.”

Further, Supriya added, “And literally everybody told him you don’t have money to eat in your house (Tumhare ghar me khane ke paise nhi hai), but Pankaj said he didn’t like the work, so how will he do it, and that was him.”
