This time, Farah Khan arrived at the Bollywood celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker’s and Shazia’s big farmhouse. While the photographer took Farah on a house tour, which left Farah surprised and delighted, the filmmaker shared that the photographer’s life story is nothing short of inspiring.
In the midst of the house tour, Farah praised Avinash, recalling that at one point in his life, he was homeless, and that Salman Khan gave him shelter, and that he used to live with Sohail Khan in his room. To which Avinash agreed, but emphasized that he wasn’t there for three years, but around 3 months to 1 of 2 years.
Sharing his story of success and the turning point of his life Avinash revealed that firstly director Ashutosh Gowariker who has directed films like Laagan, asked him to work as his assistant to learn to do hard work and after that he was introduced to Aamir Khan who gave him a chance and after he clicked his pictures Avinash got his best opportunity and he thanked Aamir and Ashutosh for their help.
Adding to that, Avinash shared that he was later introduced to Salman Khan, and after that, I always say ‘Once Salman Khan Likes You, Your Life Is Set’. Avinash has worked with biggies like Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, and he also credited Farah Khan for the great opportunities and collaborations.
Avinash also shared some unknown insights, revealing that he takes Puran Poli for Shah Rukh Khan because he likes the one made by his Aruna Tai (the chef in his house). Not just that, he also shared that Dhoni likes the chicken she makes, etc.
