However, amidst all this, a shocking incident happened at the 94th Academy Awards. In a shocking turn of events, Will Smith slapped Chris Rock after he apparently got offended by a joke. While many initially thought that the moment was staged, fans as well as the audience were later surprised to see and realize that it was not.
