As per the March 24 updates, the Haryana State Commission for Women has issued a summons to the Bhojpuri star actor and singer Pawan Singh in connection with the Anjali Raghav controversy. The actor received a summons based on allegations made by his co-star.

In her complaint filed with the Women’s Commission, Anjali alleged that Pawan Singh touched he inappropriately during a promotional event in Lucknow last year. She also added that the video of the incident was circulated by the singer’s associates against her will, tarnishing her image and reputation.

Anjali filed a complaint stating that last year, during the promotional event for the song Saiya Seva Kare in Lucknow, the star actor Pawan allegedly touched her without her consent, which made her uncomfortable. Upon investigation, the Women’s Commission has issued a notice to both parties.

As per the notice, the commission has asked Pawan and Anjali to appear at the public hearing in Faridabad on April 2. During the hearing, statements from both parties will be recorded, and the decision will be made based on the facts.

However, before this, a video of Anjali went viral, in which the actress confessed she had been disturbed by what happened and made it clear she wouldn’t work in the Bhojpuri industry anymore.

However, reacting to Anjali’s actions and confessions, Pawan said, “Anjali ji, vyasth schedule ke kaaran main aapka live dekh nahi paaya. Mujhe jab iss baat ki jaankari huyi, toh mujhe bura laga. Mera aapke prati koi bhi ghalat intention nahi tha kyuki humlog kalakaar hai. Iske bawajood, agar aapko humari kisi bhi vyawahaar se taqleef huyi ho toh uske liye main shama prarthi hoon.”
