Rajshri Deshpande, the popular Indian actress who is known for her appearances in projects like Sacred Games, was recently diagnosed with grade 1 breast cancer and underwent surgery for the same. Post her surgery, the actress shared an update about her health, revealing she is recovering and stressing the need to spread awareness about breast cancer.
On March 4, Rajshri shared a picture of herself flashing her big smile from a hospital bed, showcasing her current status. And in the caption, the actress talked about the projects she started in 2026, from planning two new schools, to shooting for new projects, and this made her feel unstoppable, while the disease hit her, but he promised that everything would happen and in more beautiful ways.
Rajshri said, “2026 began with me pouring my heart into planning two more schools in rural villages, revive another stretch of a river and shooting beautiful stories with some really talented people. I felt unstoppable, full of purpose and dreams. But nothing will change all this will happen. And in even more beautiful ways, I promise.”
The actress talked about her approach towards life even in the toughest time, highlighting that as a breast cancer survivor, it has become important for her to spread awareness about this diagnosis and said, “I am walking into this adventure with faith, courage, and a heart full of love. I know it’s just a chapter, not my whole story. My energy, compassion and fierce determination to serve, create and stand by those who need a hand. Now as a survivor, social worker and human It’s all become even more important. As Lots of work needs to be done on ground about breast cancer awareness too.”
Expressing her feelings and empowering confidence, Rajshri said, “So felt like sharing my heart with you all so keep me in your prayers so I come out flying high and achieve everything I promised.”
