Sameera Reddy, the well-known Indian film actress who has been part of films like De Dana Dan, Ashok, Jai Chiranjeeva, and others, in a recent interview opened up on her postpartum struggles and her breakups, feeling unworthy, and more.
While discussing the stereotypes of how a woman should look with Hauterrfly, actress Sameera opened up about her postpartum struggles. She shared, “After I gave birth to my son, I had a bit of a nervous breakdown. I had postpartum depression, I put on the weight, it was for a year, and I went to 100 kg, and I had such a hormonal issue that I would say was the beginning of breaking, the downfall, which today is not a downfall.”
Opening up on her dating history, Sameera revealed that so many guys dumped her around 2009 before she met Akshay. When the host asked if she was quite famous, the actress said yes, highlighting that they couldn’t handle her. Adding to it, Sameera shared she felt somewhere the problem was lying with her, as she felt unworthy, and so she was choosing morons. She then shared that when she realized she wasn’t a victim and would energetically find a communicator, it was the time she met Akshai.
Sameera Reddy married entrepreneur Akshai Varde on January 21, 2014, and the couple has two children: a son named Hans, born in 2015, and a daughter named Nyra, born in 2019.
