Bollywood’s beloved ‘Khalnayak’ aka Sanjay Dutt is one person who doesn’t need any introduction. The man has been quite literally entertaining one and all with his presence since the very beginning of the 80s decade and today, he’s rated highly as one of the most versatile. From doing heroic roles as lead to playing the antagonist and other relevant characters, our very own ‘Munna Bhai’ has proven on many occasions that he’s just like water. Well, certainly yes. You just give him any role of your will and he will get into that character with perfection. Owing to different health complications, he might not be as active as he would have liked to in movies today. However, it certainly doesn’t hold him back from having the charisma and charm of a true superstar. When the actor was earlier diagnosed with cancer, the entire country, especially his fans felt sad. But hey, during that difficult phase of cancer diagnosis and treatment, how did Sanjay Dutt handle himself? Well, he’s finally opened up about the same.

As per reports in Zee News, he was quoted as saying,

“I had a backache and was treated with hot water bottle and pain-killers until one day I couldn’t breathe. I was taken to the hospital but the thing was that the cancer news was not broken to me properly. My wife, my family or my sisters, nobody was around me that time. I was all alone and suddenly this guy comes and tells me ‘you have cancer’. My wife was in Dubai, so Priya (sister Priya Dutt) came to me. My first reaction was that, once you hear something like this, your whole life reflects back at you. I have a history of cancer in my family. My mom died of pancreatic cancer, my wife (Richa Sharma) died of brain cancer. So, the first thing I said was that, I don’t want to take chemotherapy. If I’m supposed to die, I will just die but I don’t want any treatment.”

Well, what’s your take on these statements by Sanjay Dutt? Heartbreaking, ain’t it? Let us know your views in the comments section below and for more updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com
