A big update coming in for all fans and admirers of Abhay Deol and Anurag Kashyap.
As per the latest reports in Hindustan Times, Abhay Deol has now added fuel to feud with Anurag Kashyap by labeling him as a ‘gaslighter’. The two of them had collaborated in a film titled ‘Dev D’ in the past in 2009 and ever since then, Anurag and Abhay have never worked together.
Reports reveal that it all started when Anurag in an earlier interview had revealed that it was ‘painfully difficult’ for him to work with Abhay Deol.
As per Bollywood Hungama, he was quoted as saying,
“Everything comes with its pros and cons. Where I come from, I know I have been gaslit for who I am. You call in a lot of aggression to you because you’re doing something and managing to get away with that. And a lot of people want to be able to do that and they can’t. So they project on you. Sometimes, that ignorance can come across as arrogance and I know it has a few times.”
For the unversed, ‘Gaslighting’ is a term used when an emotionally abusive person manipulates someone into doubting their own sanity.
