As per the latest reports in Latestly, Karnataka police have arrested a Kannada film producer and actor on charges of committing rape on his co-actress on the pretext of marriage. The arrested person is identified as Harshavardhan a.k.a Vijayabhargav.
Reports reveal that the actress and the accused have been friends for 2 years during which she was allegedly sexually exploited. Post that, when discussions of marriage cropped up, the accused apparently threatened her of consequences.
