Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu are currently gearing up for their next, titled ‘Saand Ki Aankh’, which is a film based on the true story of the Shooter Daadi duo.
Both Bhumi and Taapsee have worked immensely hard for their respective roles and have had to put in extra effort to get their old age look right. Be it settling for prosthetics for makeup to getting the body language right for the old age, they have done a lot. But today, at the trailer launch of Saand Ki Aankh, Bhumi Pednekar mentioned something very interesting, which is on the fun side of things. Bhumi shared that not only did the Dadi duo help them in getting the body language right but they also fed them amazing food daily. Bhumi was quoted as saying –
‘Chandro Dadi and Prakasho Dadi were both extremely helpful and supportive throughout. The entire shooting happened in front of them and no liberty was taken in the screenplay. But the best part has been that they fed us amazing homemade food at their house daily. They cooked food exclusively for us and me and Taapsee used to love it and wait for the food daily’.
Well, it truly seems like Taapsee and Bhumi had a great time off sets, as they worked together for the first time in Saand Ki Aankh. Now the wait is only about how the audience accepts and takes to the film when it releases on Diwali 2019. For more such exclusive updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com
