Zaheer shared a nostalgic story about his mentor Salman Khan. He shared that, when he was dancing on stage, the Dabangg actor asked what he was doing, and he said he was working in real estate.
Salman immediately told him he belonged in cinema, but gave him sharp physical feedback: “First, stop walking like Sanjay Dutt!”. Zaheer laughed and recalled his cheeky response to the Dabangg superstar, asking, “Should I also stop romancing like Shah Rukh Khan then?”

That exact Shah Rukh Khan-inspired charm eventually helped Zaheer win over Sonakshi, though their initial meeting didn’t go smoothly.
Revealing the past, the actress shared that when she met him, he wasn’t her type, emphasizing he was a total Bandra boy with earrings and all. Adding to that, Zaheer shared that Sonakshi rejected him just because of his earrings.
Reflecting on how drastically her perspective has shifted, Sonakshi said she wouldn’t even see boys like that, but now she is married to him. She added that she told her best friend that Zaheer is cute, but he wears earrings.
