Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the latest from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has broken all records with a new milestone at the box office as a foreign film in India, shattering the record previously held by Avengers: Endgame (₹53.60 crore nett). Starring Tom Holland, it kicked off its collection with a massive day 1 collection, surpassing 50 crore already.

On day 1 (First Thursday), the action cinematic masterpiece collected 60.60 crore net across 17250 shows with a whopping 72.3 percent occupancy in theatres. The gross collection crossed the 70 crore mark, standing at 72.44 crore, according to Sacnilk data.

Day 1 Collection Language And Regional Breakdown

-English: 32.25 crore net in 7,987 shows with 55 percent occupancy.
-Hindi: 22 crore net in 6,977 shows with 95 percent occupancy.
-Tamil: 3 crore net in 1,168 shows with 66 percent occupancy.
-Telugu: 3.25 crore net in 995 shows with 65 percent occupancy.
-Kannada: 0.03 crore net in 60 shows with 12 percent occupancy.
-Malayalam: 0.07 crore net in 63 shows with 34 percent occupancy.

As per the reports, the blockbuster film has already crossed USD 100 million across overseas markets, with China leading as the highest-grossing territory at approximately USD 35 million, followed by the United Kingdom at USD 7.8 million, France bringing USD 6.75 million, and South Korea earning 4.8 million.

Released on July 30, 2026, Spider-Man: Brand New Day also stars Zendaya and is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.
