Tamannaah Bhatia has officially begun shooting for her next project, Ragini 3, formerly titled Ragini MMS 3. On Wednesday, July 15, 2026, the 36-year-old actress took to her Instagram stories to share a big update about her professional life, announcing that she has started filming the much-awaited horror entertainer. Reportedly, the shoot began in London.
In the photo Tamannaah dropped on her social media, she is seen holding the film’s clapboard while flashing her huge smile. With the bright green backdrop and the stylish look of wearing a ruffle top and bottom, she appeared gorgeous. In contrast, the slate indicates that production has commenced, with Day 1 marked on the board. The board also mentions the names of producers—Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa Kapoor, Amar Butala, Kumar Taurani, and Girish Kumar —director Shashanka Ghosh, and DOP Reddy Yakkanti.

Earlier, Nora Fatehi was considered for the role, but she reportedly exited due to scheduling commitments. Also, the reports suggested that the shoot was put on hold after director Sahir Raza backed away from the project due to scheduling conflicts.
Later, the makers of the film announced the project, unveiling the final actors with Tamannaah Bhatia as the female lead and Junaid Khan as the male lead.
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the date-night horror film is likely to hit theatres in 2027.
