The film Tere Ishk Mein, with Dhanush and Kriti Sanon in lead roles, has just had its second song, “Usey Kehna”, released by the production team and it is already gaining a lot of attention in the process. Following the release of the soul-wrenching title track, this new number goes further in the film’s passionate love story—one of longing, heartbreak, and the pain of silent words.
A.R. Rahman is the composer for Usey Kehna and his magic is very distinct on this one—music that is both ageless and very intimate at the same time. The expressive lyrics of Irshad Kamil get through generations in the deeply felt singing of Nitesh Aher and Jonita Gandhi, who put raw emotion into every single note.
There are also new scenes of Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s characters shown in the song, and they are just capturing those moments which are turning points for their love. Kriti is draping Mukti character the way she is making her emotional journey with great intensity and vulnerability, and at the same time, Dhanush is building the emotional core of the story with his impact on her.
Set to release in theatres on November 28, 2025, Tere Ishk Mein continues to build anticipation with every new glimpse—promising a stirring tale of love, loss, and connection that lingers long after the music fades.
A.R. Rahman, talking about the song, stated, “This next song, Usey Kehna, was inspired by when we travelled to Himachal and witnessed the reflection of the mountains in the Ganges. Everything around inspired the creation of the melody, inspiring our team—Aanand L. Rai, Irshad Kamil, Himanshu—and it evolved into something that is just the bare minimum of piano, strings, and a newfound voice of Nitesh. I hope people enjoy it and feel the same way we felt creating it,” as quoted by News18.
