Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the Shahid Kapoor-starring film Jersey, which is set to hit theatres on December 31st. This film marks Shahid’s return to the big screen following the success of Kabir Singh. As we enter the month of the film’s release, the creators have released a new poster that highlights the father-son relationship at the heart of the story.
The poster features Shahid’s character, Arjun, tying his son’s shoelaces, symbolizing their strong bond. Jersey tells the story of a former cricket player who struggles to buy his son a jersey, a relatable and inspiring tale that celebrates the strength of the human spirit. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur, and features an upbeat soundtrack by Sachet-Parampara.
Allu Aravind is presenting the movie, which was directed by National Award winner Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by Aman Gill, Dil Raju, and S Naga Vamsi.
