One of the most anticipated films of the year, Baby Do Die Do has been making waves ever since its announcement. From its intriguing premise to its unique characters, the film has built strong buzz ahead of release. Adding to the excitement is Huma Qureshi’s never-seen-before avatar as a deaf but sharp assassin, India’s first desi hitwoman on screen- making the thriller one of the most talked-about releases of 2026.
Now, the film has turned up the heat with its latest musical offering, Ishq Kameena 2.0, a recreation of the iconic 2002 chartbuster. The original song became a pop-culture phenomenon, celebrated for its infectious energy, bold attitude, and unforgettable hook that ruled dance floors, weddings, and parties for years.
With Ishq Kameena 2.0, the makers have successfully revived that nostalgia while giving the cult classic a fresh, contemporary identity for today’s audience. The recreated version retains the spirit and energy of the original while elevating it with stylish visuals and a modern sonic appeal.
Featuring Huma Qureshi and Rachit Singh, the track offers a glimpse into their crackling chemistry, packed with glamour, attitude, and high-voltage dance moves. The song stands out for striking the right balance between nostalgia and freshness, appealing both to audiences who grew up with the original and younger listeners discovering the iconic track for the first time.
The buzz around the song is no longer limited to digital platforms. Ishq Kameena 2.0 is rapidly taking over clubs, pubs, and party circuits, proving its massive appeal among music lovers. Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem took the celebrations from Mumbai’s buzzing nightlife to a high-energy DJ night in Ahmedabad, turning every stop into a full-blown party. Videos emerging from both cities show packed dance floors vibing to the recreated track, further cementing its status as the season’s latest party anthem.
The recreated number has been choreographed by celebrated filmmaker and choreographer Remo D’Souza, whose signature style brings a fresh visual identity to the song while preserving the larger-than-life appeal that made the original so iconic. The recreation also reflects the makers’ intent to widen the film’s reach while staying true to the film’s edgy, entertaining core.
Directed by Nachiket Samant and produced by Saqib Saleem, a Saleem Siblings production in association with Pune 04 Film, Baby Do Die Do is set to release in cinemas on 3rd July, 2026. The film also stars Sikandar Kher, Chunky Panday, Rachit Singh, Marudha Shekhawat, Vidya Malvade, Arun Kushwah and Himanshu Malik. The song has been released by Tips Music and is now streaming on all major music platforms.
