After the super success of ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was reportedly keen on having his popular jodi of Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan back for ‘Bajirao Mastani. However, given her past relationship with Salman, Aishwarya reportedly rejected the historic film.
Not many know that ‘Chalte Chalte’ initially starred Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. However, Aishwarya, who was going through some problems in her relationship with Salman Khan then, couldn’t concentrate on her professional commitments. Reports were rife that the ‘Dabangg’ star showed up on sets of the film even though they had just broken up. Eventually, the actress backed out of the film and the makers replaced her with Rani Mukerji.
Aishwarya was supposed to star in Heroine and even a poster featuring her was released. But, she got pregnant and later the film was made with Kareena.
