The makers wanted Kareena Kapoor to mark the role rather. The actress later revealed that she turned it down because she thought that the role won’t suit her. However, later she was asked if she regrets turning the film down, she denied it, as stated in ETimes.
However, later it was offered to Kangana, and Queen proceeded to turn it into Kangana’s one of the best movies. The actress even bagged a national award for her work in the film.
