Pawan Kalyan, the South’s megastar, who now charges 50 crores per film, used to get paid only Rs 5000 during his initial days. The actor is one of the most admired amongst the Indians, and his films always hit big at the box office!

The actor made his debut with the film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi in 1996, along with Supriya as the female lead. The film was the remake of the Hindi hit film, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.

Coming to his remuneration, the actor himself mentioned in an interview, that during his initial days in Tollywood, he used to get paid as minimum as Rs 5000 while shooting for the film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi. However, now the table has turned, and he has become one of the highest-paid actors in the Tollywood industry, as stated in ETimes.
