Pooja Hegde recently talked about her acting career in an interview with a reputable publication. She emphasized that she does not in any way identify with the box office for fear of being negatively impacted in the future if a movie doesn’t perform well, underscoring her mantra to not let success or failure define her. Pooja Hegde, a Bollywood heroine and prominent celebrity from South India, continued by describing the pinnacle of her career and the reasons why her Hrithik Roshan-starring Bollywood début in Mohenjo Daro was the lowest.

Pooja Hegde elaborated on her career’s highest and lowest points to date, saying that her best moment was when she had six consecutive hit movies, which was an incredible feeling, while her worst moment occurred at the start of her career because there was never a point where one film took off, and there was no turning back; rather, it was more like one film (her Bollywood debut, Mohenjo Daro) didn’t do well, then there was a year where she had no work. She went on to say, when she did finally land the kinds of movies she wanted to make, they sadly weren’t doing well at the box office.

The actress eventually found a Telugu film that did well at the box office, and ever since then, she feels like it’s been an amazing ride. However, she still has a long way to go, a lot of different kinds of films she longs to do and a lot of dream Directors she wants to work with.
