Food is something Tara Sutaria enjoys. A recent glance into the actress’s culinary exploits in the kitchen has us all drooling. On Instagram Stories, Tara posted a picture of a delicious meal. She cooked the prawn ghee roast for the first time, and the food looked yummy. Tara shared it with her fans and mesmerized us with her culinary skills. In Mangalore, prawn ghee roast is a scrumptious delicacy. On the Arabian Sea’s coast in Karnataka, Mangalore is a well-known city. Due to its location near the ocean, prawns are widely available here. This is the ideal side dish with biryani, ghee rice, roti, or Malabar paratha. It is simple to prepare and may also be used as an appetizer. Start by soaking the chilies in warm water for an hour before draining the water and reserving them for use in the Prawn Ghee Roast dish. The prawns should be washed, dried, and cleaned. Then, for 10 minutes, let the tamarind soak in 1/4 cup of warm water.

Once the tamarind has been soaked, squeeze it to release the pulp. Over medium-high heat, toast the peppercorns, fenugreek, mustard, fennel, and cumin in a small skillet. When the spices stop sputtering, turn off the heat. Put the spices on a plate, allow them to cool, and then powder them finely. To create a smooth paste, place the garlic and soaked chiles in a grinder with a little water. For 20 minutes, marinate the prawns in a mixture of lime juice, yogurt, red chili powder, turmeric, and a dash of salt. Add the prawns in small batches in a pan with two tablespoons of ghee over medium heat.

Fry till light brown from all sides. Take the prawns out of the pan. The remaining ghee should now contain the garlic and chili paste. Fry for two minutes before adding the prawns, salt, remaining marination masala, and powdered roasted spices. Add the curry leaves and tamarind pulp, and cook for 5 minutes on low heat. If necessary, add some water. After mixing in the final one teaspoon of ghee, turn off the gas. Put the Prawn Ghee Roast in a bowl for serving. As a side dish, serve Prawn Ghee Roast with Parotta and Steamed Rice for a weekday supper.
