On Monday, Guneet Monga and her beau Sunny Kapoor plan to exchange vows. Before the wedding, the director hosted a cocktail party in Mumbai on Sunday for her friends and coworkers. Everyone attended the celebration, from her colleagues and filmmakers like Vishal Bhardwaj, and Neha Dhupia, to actors like Vidya Balan and Ekta Kapoor.

Guneet, the bride-to-be, was dressed in gold and silver. In an indigo sherwani, her fiancé Sunny Kapoor joined her.

Siddharth Roy Kapur, Vidya Balan’s husband, a producer, also arrived. She wore a floral saree with black and red colors. With her producer spouse Goldie Behl, Sonali Bendre also arrived. In a straight white kurta salwar, she looked beautiful.

In contrast to Rhea Chakraborty, who wore a black and green outfit, Sanya Malhotra, the star of Guneet’s Pagglait, was dressed in a golden lehenga.

In addition to Guneet, Neena Gupta attended the event. She played the role of Pinni in Zindagi in Short, an anthology film. Her attire was a vibrant shade of pink. Abhishek Banerjee, Amrita Puri, and Renuka Shahane attended the party with their spouses, Ashutosh Rana and Renuka Shahane.

Sayani Gupta wore a black saree, while Mouni Roy wore a white one to the event. Neha Dhupia was also seen wearing a cream-colored dress. Tahira Kashyap showed up to the event dressed in sparkling clothes. Patralekhaa and Amrita Puri arrived in a yellow saree, while actors Konkona Sen Sharma and Divya Dutta wore grey sarees.

Sona Mohapatra, a singer, and Maanvi Gagroo, an actor, were dressed in black and grey. Guneet and Sunny were joined by actors Rasika Dugal and Aahana Kumra during the pre-wedding cocktail party.

The party was attended by actor Chunky Panday and his wife, Bhavana Pandey. Deepak Dobriyal, Satish Kaushik, Sanjay Kapoor, and Karan Tacker were also spotted at the celebration.

The executive producer of the Academy Award-winning short film Kavi is Guneet. Her other producing endeavors include The Lunchbox, Gangs of Wasseypur: Parts 1 and 2, Peddlers, Mickey Virus, Masaan, Zubaan, and Pagglait.

She loves the movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, so much that even her wedding card was influenced by it. It contains symbols like a train, Sarson ke khet, and two hands clasped together.
