Bhumi Pednekar, one of the unconventional actresses from Bollywood has also earned fame with her awareness of climate change and global warming. The actress has not only wowed us with her titular roles onscreen but also has shared opinions and strong statements holding flags and posters to advocate the serious issues and signs of global warming. Recently she has also opened up on energy conservation.

However, talking of her fitness, the actress has definitely given us realistic goals of all time and inspired us with her healthy and steady weight loss journey. Her debut film was truly a mind-boggling one, for unlike other actresses she opted for a role that was quite a lot bigger than her actual size, and yet Bhumi aced the character with ease. However, after the film, Bhumi quickly lost her extra weight giving us fitness goals. She told to Vogue, “I’ve lost over 35kg, after gaining 30kg for a film. Since then, it’s been a constant process of improvement—but I didn’t do it by starving myself. I work really hard; it’s become an active part of my routine. I like to mix it up—pilates, running, strength and weight training,”

She added, “My weight never came into my way of happiness. I talk about it openly because people should know that it’s a wrong approach to life,” as quoted by The Indian Express.
