BTS member Jungkook has been polishing his English skills over the years. While RM was the only member who could hold his own in American interviews.

And all the other members are slowly catching up as well. As the group has become a global phenomenon, the boys have been diligently studying the language to communicate properly with fans.

Jungkook is sincere and is taking his English lessons. Also that he showed off his fluent speaking skills during the 2021 American Music Awards.

In a recent interview, Jungkook says,

Enough is never enough, but he feels good in his English lessons when the tutor asks him vocabulary words. He has memorized them and he can answer them all right away. It is more like, He memorized it! For singing, there’s a certain time that everything’s going well. And there are times it is easy, which is when he thought, This is because of all that practicing he did, right? He would wish it were like that every day.

He impressed his fans and audience with his smooth English during BTS’s recent tour in America, PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE. In an interview, Jungkook shared the other part of the story. While his fluent pronunciation of words and minimum mistakes made it seem as if he was a native speaker. Jungkook candidly shared what the concert helped him learn his English skills.

He is thankful when other people see that and tell him, he improved but he never thinks he is good when he thinks about it himself. He thinks what he said in English sounded better to people than what they were expecting. But he doesn’t think it’s something to be proud of. If he were able to lead the concert in English like that without a teleprompter he can say he improved but he is not yet there. He still has a long way to go when he thinks about it. And if he has done something good that is just for the moment because after that when you think about it you need to do better, says Jungkook.

Well, practice makes perfect, says Jungkook. His hard work is what made him come this way. And we hope he soon will be able to speak fluently in English.
