Jimin, a member of BTS, is never shy about expressing his admiration for ARMY. He consistently displays his gratitude to them by leaving beautiful notes for them on social media. Whatever he does, though, the singer is always striving to improve and present to his audience a more polished and mature side of himself. He frequently states that he has a long way to go and that he is not doing enough for the fandom.

This is exactly how he felt at the group’s concert in Los Angeles. Jimin opened up about his feelings during the LA tour in an interview with Weverse magazine, which was published on June 18 KST, and claimed he felt like he was wronging the fans.

The Map of the Soul concert tour, which was set to begin in April 2020, has been postponed indefinitely because of the Covid19 pandemic. It took BTS almost two years to be able to hold a large-audience concert. However, in November 2021, they returned with the Permission to Dance On Stage – LA concerts.

Jimin had some gloomy feelings during the period they couldn’t meet ARMY. “For the past two years, I’ve felt a little bad.” After the first day of the LA show, I felt as if I had been betraying the audience the entire time because our shows kept getting canceled. I had the impression that they had lost their enthusiasm during that period since they couldn’t see us,” he said.

“However, they’d been patiently waiting the entire time, so I started to wonder what I’d been up to.” On the occasion, we sang “Permission to Dance” and met ARMY.

He believes that by doing so, he may be “loyal” as an idol. Because their last tour was canceled owing to the pandemic, Jimin said that he has wrestled with remorse. Jimin was worried that as a result, ARMYs would lose interest in BTS. Despite this, a large number of people patiently awaited their arrival. ARMY showed to Jimin and BTS that they patiently waited for them during the lockdown, with all four nights of the event sold out in LA and many others in Las Vegas and Seoul.
