Lata Mangeshkar has been the heart and soul of every song she has sung in her career and she has every reason to be everyone’s favorite singer of all times. Her mesmerizing and sweet voice has done wonders in all the decades that she has been part of.
Born into the family of artists and actors, her talent was discovered by her
father at a young age. She started to act in her father’s musical plays.
Soon after her father’s death, she debuted with her singing career with Marathi song, Naachu Yaa Gade, Khelu Saari Mani Haus Bhaari. Although she made her debut at the young age of 13, the song was dropped from the final cut. She is also a composer and has composed for the first time in the year 1955 for the
Marathi movie Ram Ram Pavhane. She can sing in many languages and to date, she has sung in six different languages including Bengali.
Lata Mangeshkar has bagged prestigious and respected awards like Bharat Ratna, Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan to her name. She was ranked at number 10 in all-time greatest Indians in the year 2012.
Recently she was in bad health condition but is out of danger and all her fans has been praying for her recovery…Hope we can hear her soon.
