Chaeyoung was born on April 23, 1999, in Seoul, South Korea. Chaeyoung has always been interested in the performing arts and began her career as a model for a children’s magazine. She had determined she wanted to be a singer and had been taking dancing training for over a year before joining JYP Entertainment.
Chaeyoung originally auditioned for JYP Entertainment as a trainee when she was 14 years old, and she was accepted after two rounds of auditions. She began her career as a vocalist, but immediately after, she began studying to become a rapper. She participated in music videos for Got7 and Miss A before making her Twice debut.
TWICE just started their North American tour. Aside from fan-shot footage of their performances, ONCEs from across the world were given a plethora of stunning photos of the beauties.
