Selena Gomez is back on the set of Only Murders in the Building, the Hulu drama in which she portrays one-third of a crime-solving crew of tenants of a posh New York City apartment building, and we’re experiencing severe coat envy all over again.
If you watch the program, you’ll know that Mabel, her character, is known for her gorgeous jackets. She wore a citrus orange cropped fake fur coat to explore the streets of the city while listening to true crime podcasts in the first season, and it doesn’t appear like the coat train is slowing down for season two. Selena Gomez wears not one, not two, but three killer jackets in some new set photos.
1. The first is a Proenza Schouler acid green belted faux fur coat that Selena-as-Mabel wears with a patterned blouse, wide black slacks, and lug sole shoes.
2. The second is a traditional brown teddy coat worn with white slacks, black UGG wedge boots, black leather gloves, and a chestnut brown scarf for added winter comfort.
3. Finally, Selena (also from UGG) was photographed wearing a black and grey swirl-print down puffer, which looks equally fashionable and comfy and is paired with what appear to be cashmere trousers and a matching sweatshirt, as well as a thick cream-colored scarf.
We’re not sure what company Selena’s second coat is from, but these behind-the-scenes outfits have something for everyone, regardless of their winter taste. The brown teddy coat will take you from class to dinner to a beautiful evening out, while the lime fake fur will give edge and glitter to any ensemble, including pajamas. When the weather lowers, nothing beats a huge down puffer, so we’re glad to see Selena-as-Mabel is keeping warm.
