Opening up on Udit Narayan’s kissing controversy, Abhijeet said, “I told Udit that you write, yes, I did kiss because some also kissed me. So you say that, yes I do this, I will kiss, if my fans come and hug me so I do it.” He further added that if Udit had written, the matter would have been escalated, so on his behalf he wrote that he is Udit Narayan; if people do not kiss him, then whom? He also asked sarcastically that fifty people are kissing you, and if you do just one, it becomes a big matter.
