Global pop sensation Shakira is making a much-anticipated return to India this April as the headliner for the Feeding India Concert 2026, nearly 19 years after her last major performance in the country. The District by Zomato event which they run together with HSBC India, will occur in two cities, although the organisers have not disclosed their exact locations and event times.
The District by Zomato application and website will function as the only ticketing system for the tour. HSBC credit cardholders will receive access to an exclusive pre-sale period which begins on February 27 2026 at 1200 PM IST and will receive a 10% discount up to 1000 Indian rupees on their total purchase. The general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning March 1 2026 at 1:00 PM IST. The organizers have introduced a “Buy Now, Pay Later” payment system which enables fans to pay 50% of their ticket costs at the time of booking and complete their payment by March 20 2026.
The concert supports the “music-for-change” initiative which aims to create public awareness about the United Nations Zero Hunger goal while funding essential child nutrition programs throughout India. Shakira will deliver a performance which fans expect to become the concert’s main attraction because audiences anticipate her live performance of various worldwide popular songs including Hips Dont Lie and Waka Waka and Whenever Wherever and her new music which she performed during her record breaking Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour.
The District app will announce additional performers and opening acts during the next few weeks because they expect this event to become one of the biggest live music performances in India throughout 2026.
