Gulzar is a famous Indian lyricist, poet, author, film director, and many more. Gulzar made his debut in the music industry in 1963 with the film “Bandini” with music director S.D. Burman. Gulzar has written many songs and dialogues and television shows in his entire career.
Gulzar is the recipient of many awards and accolades including 5 National Awards and 1 Academy Awards. He has also received many honors from the government for his contribution to the music industry. Gulzar started his career as a lyricist early in his career but it was in 1969 with the song “Humne Dekhi Hai Un Aankhon Ki Mehekti Khushboo” that he got recognition.
