MAMAMOO’s current comeback track, “Starry Night,” is storming the charts. They’re noted for their outstanding singing abilities and constantly high levels of excitement.
Let’s get to know the MAMAMOO women today!
1. Solar aspired to be a flight attendant at first, but an agency noticed her singing potential when she sang for a free present. (I don’t believe it’s a coincidence!)
2. Moonbyul is a member of the ’92 line, which also includes Jin (BTS), Hani (EXID), Ken (VIXX), and Sandeul (all born in 1992). (B1A4). They had a group chat and hang out together (they must have been a lot of fun!).
3. Wheein is a foodie. She enjoys watching mukbang (eating) shows and calls herself the “Snack Queen.”
4. Because Hwasa is allergic to pets, she has a toy lion that she talks about whenever the other members talk about their pets.
5. Solar appeared on We Got Married to Eric Nam and won the MBC Entertainment Awards’ Best Couple award in 2016.
Moonbyul’s nickname used to be “black hole” since she sweats excessively.
7. Wheein is the most outspoken of the group; she enjoys dropping unexpected freestyle raps, singing her heart out, and having a charming laugh.
8. Hwasa is the newest member, but because of her mature look and somewhat husky voice, she is frequently mistaken for the eldest.
9. Solar’s true name is Kim Yong-sun, and her stage name is derived from the musical word ‘Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do,’ which refers to her responsibility for the high notes. (Fancy!)
10. Moonbyul auditioned as a singer, but her abilities on the mic pushed her to become a rapper (AOA’s Jimin has stated that Moonbyul is an outstanding rapper).
11. Wheein has claimed that rapper Beenzino, of whom she is a major fan, is her ideal type.
12. Hwasa enjoys cooking and listening to vintage jazz music. (Though she appears to be the oldest, she is actually the youngest!)
