Originally from Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, Neha Kakkar’s family moved to Delhi later. And it was there when she with her sister Sonu Kakkar used to go to sing Jaagrans. It was from the age of 4 till she turned 16, she used to sing bhajans. And they were like a training ground for her.
Later, when Neha Kakkar participated in Indian Idol season 2 it was then when her actual Bollywood career commenced. Right now maybe Neha Kakkar is well-settled but it was not always the same.
Her father used to sell samosas outside schools and colleges. And singing bhajans got her 50 rupees a day. These days were a real struggle for her.
It was after Indian Idol, her actual voice started to be noticed and her peppy voice got in demand.
Her song from the movie Yaariyan gave us true vitamin sea vibes making us all go and bath in sun sitting on a beach. Sunny song got a great response from her fans and her other songs like Mahi Ve, London Thumakda, and Coca Cola were a great success.
Presently, Neha Kakkar is one of the most sung and loved Bollywood singers in the music industry.
