Sonu Nigam, in a nutshell, is a popular live performer, composer, host and also an actor. Sings mostly in Hindi and Kannada. He is the true master of melody, often called Modern Rafi or Lord of Chords. Today he has song not just in Hindi and Kannada, but also in many other regional languages like English, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Tulu, Punjabi, Urdu languages.
