Katy Perry is a famous American singer, songwriter, and a television personality. She recently shared with her instafam that she has given her vote to billionaire Democrat Rick Caruso for mayor of Los Angeles.
Katy Perry took to her instagram handle and shared a few photos and a clip with her fans after she officially cast her vote for Rick Caruso, a former Republican, over Democrat Rep. Karen Bass.
Captioning her post, Katy Perry wrote, “I am voting for a myriad of reasons (see the news) but in particular because Los Angeles is a hot mess.” Further added, “#letsgocaruso #yestomeasure28 #yestomeasure1 #doyoubutjustuseyourvoteok.”
In two of the photos, Katy Perry is seen taking a selfie in the polling booth while showing a thumbs up towards Caruso. Another snap showed her giving a celebratory pose outside the polling location.
Lastly, Katy Perry is seen giving a thumbs up to a message on the polling screen that read, “Thanks for Voting. Congratulations, you have cast your ballot in the November 8, 2022 General Election. Don’t forget your sticker on the way out.”
Besides, in an interview earlier, Katy Perry shared that Caruso is a “man of integrity and great character” who she thinks can get the city back on track.
