A shocking and sad update is coming in for all fans and admirers of Indian football.
As per the latest media reports in ESPN, FIFA on Tuesday announced that it has decided to suspend the All India Football Federation with immediate effect. Reports in the media reveal that the decision was made due to undue influence from third parties which constitutes a severe violation of FIFA statutes. Reports reveal that they also mentioned that the suspension affects India’s hosting rights for FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022. It was scheduled to be held in October. However, that will no longer happen as per plan.
